Our Dens

The pack is divided into smaller groups called dens. Each den has about six to eight boys. All of the Cub Scouts in your den are in the same grade and may even go to the same school.

Tiger Den

Tigers is for boys in the First Grade (or 6-7 Yrs). Our Goals are a family, home, and community centered program that encourages ethical decision-making skills. The boys participate with their adult partners. The program emphasizes shared leadership, learning about the community, and family understanding.

Wolf Den - Second Grade

Wolf Den

Wolf Den is for boys in the 2nd Grade (or 7-8 Yrs). The boys will learn more about staying healthy, knowing their home and community, tools for fixing and building, cooking healthy, being safe, making good choices, and much more.

Bear Den

For boys in the 3rd Grade (or 8-9 Yrs). There are four general achievement groups: God, Country, Family, and Self. This is the year your son will grow in amazing ways. Much of the advancement for the Bear rank is done by the scout with his family outside of the den. The Bear program relies heavily on family involvement, but you will see this gradually change with the scout doing more with his den and more individual direction as he graduates to Webelos.

Webelos Den

For boys in the 4th Grade (or 9-10 Yrs). Webelos is a 20 month program for 4th and 5th grade boys to prepare to join a Boy Scout troop while learning outdoor skills and participating in 20 different activity badges. A well-run group of Webelos is a gradual change from being an 'adult-run' den to being a 'boy-run' patrol ready to fit right into an adventurous scouting troop. The Webelos I program works towards the Webelos Badge, along with beginning the preparation for the transition to Boy Scouts.

Arrow of Light Den

For boys in the 5th Grade (or 11-12 Yrs). Webelos II is the second half of the 20 month program to prepare to join a Boy Scout troop. After earning the Webelos Badge, Scouts work toward the Arrow of Light, the highest achievement in Cub Scouts. The final part of Webelos is bridging over into a Boy Scout troop selected individually by the scout.
