Peace Light

2017 Peace Light Ceremony

Saturday, December 16th    7:00pm

St. Mary's Hall
103 N Maple St, Orwell, OH 44076

The Peace Light is a continuously-burning flame, originating from the Grotto of the Nativity in Bethlehem, Israel.  Each December, Scouts are challenged to help the flame reach as many people as possible, passing the flame lantern to lantern - while reminding the public that we can all be channels of peace through our words and actions.

For the 5th year, Cub Scout Pack 72 will be offering the Peace Light flame to the public in a brief and meaningful ceremony at St. Mary's Hall in Orwell

This event is open to the public.  Invite family, friends, and the community to help spread Peace this holiday season.

We will be serving cookies and hot chocolate.

If you would like to take the Peace Light home with you, please bring your own oil lamp or enclosed candle.  Candles will be supplied to all participants.
